Phase 0 - 180 How is it achieved?

First off, thank you for cMP and cPlay. Using a modest Thinkpad T40->USB->Havana DAC with your suggested XP optimizations is quite a revelation. The sound is pushing beyond my regular transport via SPDIF into the same DAC.

I also really like the ability to change the phase from 0 to 180 depending on the source material. (It is something my ears are very attuned to.) I am wondering how this is achieved within the program. Is this a directive sent to the DAC or a DSP thing? Does the wave form have to be inverted by you in the program before it is sent to the DAC or do you just have to flip one bit on the fly?
