Native soundcard

Hello, theob! I have already written about the mobo's native soundcard in conjunction with Cmp-cPlay. I use the first recommended Biostar mb and it has Realtech "hi definition audio" on board. Now that I cannot afford to get the Lynx, especially as I want Lynx and Lynx Aurora 8, I have to make do with what I have. I used Creative Audigy 2 platinum something (24-96 capable) for some time but after minlogon crash I started using onboard Realtech. I can say that Realtech eats Audigy for breakfast. It is much more transparent and airy in highs and no glaring, no crackles during playback, but it is really strong in the lows. They are very well defined, clear and really Low even on smallish speakers. You may want to read my humble comment on 2-18 o 2-17 where I say that the air appears, but probably due to the fact that lows are more clear. So it goes.
Serge.
