Yes, exactly. Load all of the hardstuff properly, in order, defrag after every load until you get to machine specific stuff. Then move it to the cMP2 machine, startup, do the BIOS tweaks, reload Juli@ & 1.04 drivers and see how it works. If OK do the rest and hopefully your metallic issue will be history.

Then you can format the other HDD, reload the same way and have a spare ready with most of the loads already installed. If new changes come out then you can put them on that HDD, swap, and be back on-track quickly.

I also got a Seagate external HDD for building/transfering music files/directories. Also for when new software/methods come out I can implement and listen at the same time.

Use the cMP2 machine for pleasure not experiments.
