RE: The power of the audio magazines may have been true 20 years ago..

Well Mr Hanson, since you do not know me, I will state I used my ears to make the purchases. The Esoteric SACD player came from Ralph at Spearit Sound, the Prime turntable cam from Johnny R at Audio Connections, The Rogue tube preamp came from Overture in Maryland, the Sony music server came from Fidelis and the GE Triton References came from Audio Concepts in North Attleboro Mass. I purchased the Conrad Johnson amp from The Music Room in Colorado and the Magnum Dynalab tuner came from Audiogon as well as the Shunyata cords and power conditioners.

I do not believe anything the magazines say, I have been into this since I was 15, I am now 64 and I have an excellent pair of ears. Since you know absolutely nothing about me Mr. Hanson, why did you make that statement? I have a very engaging and musically satisfying system.
Furthermore, why did you decide to go after me? was it because I said you are acting like a bully? In the past 24 hours, you have shown me a side of high end audio I want nothing to do with.
