Not surprising in the least. This is why it's so easy to dup...

... so many participants in high-end audio.

Because the majority of listeners in high-end audio have untrained ears and therefore are unable to discern what they hear. So they rely heavily on magazines and reviews for their component selections. That's why calling a magazine or its editor on the carpet for questionable practices is almost like blasphemy to them.

MQA's release with their outlandish performance claims banked on this fact. As did so many sellouts who endorsed MQA.
