There used to be a law in Japan that the wage difference between the highest and lowest paid people in a company was 7x. They got around that to a degree by using loopholes - issuing stock or retirement bonuses and things like that.

But the the US is capitalism out of control. It used to be balanced by the government, but now the US government has been completely and totally bought out by the rich.

The elite are extremely scared at the moment. They've been able to keep the masses controlled through brain-washing via the media. It's all crumbling now. There are only a few hundred of them and millions of "ordinary people". That's why they've been building up the police state in this country for decades - a last-ditch effort to control us.
