RE: Stereophile Reaches a New Nadir

My only comment is that if balanced interconnects "cause hum", it shouldn't be presumed that the problem is the balanced cables...... Balanced circuits/cables are supposed to be immune to hum, compared to their single-ended counterparts.......

But otherwise, no comment..... Aside from whether the third generation Benchmark got rid of the asynchronous conversion, which IMO is a "feature" to avoid in any DAC, if it cannot be defeated.
