Clarion sold McIntosh over a year ago to D&B Holdings, a Hong Kong company that is now the proud owner of McIntosh, Denon, and Marantz.And Ron Fone, the McIntosh president under Clarion's ownership is no longer associated with McIntosh. And I don't mean this in a negative way - It's pretty common for new owners to put their own people in place and get rid of the senior managers from the previous owners. From what I heard, Ron had his hands pretty much tied by Clarion's management and Clarion would not permit him to run the comapany in a manner befitting the McIntosh name and legacy.
