Here is my ad in its entirety from a query into Ebay. What's missing are 2 pictures of the actual amp, outside the box, and in use. Please read each phrase carefully. I did not spend that much time writing the ad but feel and intended each fact to be correct.I would like to point out the word "used" was mentioned twice and I spent half of the description describing its performance. Based on the concensus of the previous thread, I feel I did nothing wrong.
Hello Ethan,
Thank you for writing eBay.
The text of your listing was as follows:
"Pair of Mcintosh MC501 Monoblock amplifiers, like new, used only two
weeks with original box and manual. I purchased these amps to be used in my home theater system but an unforeseen circumstance forces sale. When used in my 2 channel system, the sound is open, dynamic and clean. Experimentation with power cords added another leap in performance. It is significantly more authoritative than my previous MC402 and MC500. Local sale is preferred. Opening bid is 33% off retail ($8200) with no reserve. Shipping is be based on UPS's rate for 120 lbs. each from 95014. Please email me with any questions."Thank you for being part of the eBay community.
Regards,
Yuri
