would have thought there would be some warranty. They would be dead wrong of course.
I think the seller made a proper original listing. The wary prospective buyer, faced with the possibility of spending 5k for electronics equipment two weeks old, should ask any and all pertinent questions, including those involving warranties.
I just think it wouldn't have taken much effort to add the caveat "No Warranty" to the listing, even though the manner in which McIntosh interfered was inappropriate at the very least. Just my opinion.
