Re: I don't agree

Hey photoguy,

Questions:

How many times have you put "No Warranty" in your ad?
I'll bet never.
(FYI, My answer would also be never. Why? Because it is USED, as the ad says.)

How many times have you been threated to change your ad or else?
Again, I'll bet never.
(My answer, again - Never.)
And if I had, I would have reacted in exactly same manner as Ethan.
McIntosh did not ask politely. They demanded, and threatened all in the same message. No give and take, no asking how he got the unit, nothing. Just pure and simple avarice on their part. They even had the gaul to have a lawyer do it, not even a public relations person who might have just a hint of tact.

FYI, I emailed McIntosh about their heavy handed ways, and they responded they've "been inundated with e-mail". Apparently, now they've figured out what a mess it was having their tactless attorney handle this, rather than somebody who knows what is going on and how to speak to people politely. They even have the president of the company answering the phones on this one. Oops!
My guess is that Wayne Cooper will no longer be counting McIntosh as one of his clients, which serves him right.
