This guy's the type to give lawyers *and* their clients a bad rap! There's so much blah,blah,blah in this letter it's not even funny. NO ONE buying on eBay thinks there's a warranty on anything, unless you've got some other affirmative reason to believe there is, like knowing about the stellar Bryson policy. Also, he's now stating there's no copyright violation, but I thought that was the main reason for eBay's policy about pulling ads.Even though this Wayne guy impresses me as a jerk, I still think the real fault is the execs who made the decision to hire guys like him instead of great engineers and better quality control. This company made it's name on great engineering (decades ago!), and now it seems from all this there's a new crowd in there trying to milk that reputation and rely on lawyers and intimidation rather than quality for market share.
I'm glad you posted this thread, post the ad- expose them to the marketplace for whatever they are. I personally would not consider anything by them now, just wouldn't want to take any chance I'd have to deal with Wayne (or someone like him) if I had a problem.... Life's too short.
