cPlay 2.0b39 Released

Refer to ReadMe.txt for important details & specifications.

Change Log (2.0b39 release):

  1. Fix for balance control when used repeatedly

  2. Provide keyboard support for balance control: keys 'k' & 'l' changes balance

  3. Reverse change 5 done in 2.0b37: ASIO interface for general hardware assumed. This should provide interesting comparisons with 2.0b38.

cPlay documentation can be found at the new cMP² website.

Please REMOVE previous versions before installing cPlay 2.0b39. Normal (SSE2), SSE3, SSSE3 and SSE4 versions are available. Running cPlay on a CPU not supporting the required instruction set will cause cPlay to exit immediately. For best results, uncheck "Timer" setting and test different "Buffer" sizes.

As from cPlay 2.0b33, the installation folder is NOT deleted if one or more plugins were used. All plugin settings are stored in files named with the corresponding plugin name and '.vst' as extension. Subsequent cPlay releases will attempt to use these settings. That is, cPlay releases can be upgraded without loosing plugin settings. On installation of a new release and plugins were previously used, the installer prompts to confirm reuse of the existing folder. Answer 'Yes'.
