Q1: Would it be possible to have cPlay handle mono input files - sending the same data to both L & R output channels ?
It certainly could send mono to left & right. Not a priority for now though.Q2: Would it be difficult to have the actual FILENAME display in the Trackname column ? In this example I'd like to see "PZM_Room_02.wav" indicated - including the file extension. Hmmmmm... it's interesting to note the cPlay titlebar display changes the lowercase "wav" file extension (as actual filename is stored on the HD) to uppercase "WAV". Not a problem, but an observation.
Done in 2.0b6.Q3: If I set Upsampler Rate for 96.0 and input a 96KHz file, is the SRC code bypassed - a direct passthru ?
SRC is completely bypassed whenever input rate = output rate.Q4: If I set the Upsampler Rate for 44.1 and input the same 96KHz file, does cPaly DOWNsample - and if so, is it of the same high quality as in the upsample direction ?
96->44.1 SRC downsampling is done using same high quality converter.
