Sonicweld Diverter

Trying to use the Sonicweld Diverter HR (SWD) with cPlay. After uninstalling ASIO4ALL and then installing the SWD driver, cPlay won't run. It says:

"No valid ASIO drivers found!
Player requires at least one ASIO driver to be installed.
If an ASIO driver was installed, its not operational - make sure soundcard is enabled (in hardware device manager)."

The SWD's creator says he can successfully use the Diverter’s ASIO interface with any other player software except cPlay so thinks something is different about cPlay and the way it queries the system for an ASIO driver.

With the SWD being the best USB to SPDIF converter and cPlay the best-sounding Windows software, it would be nice to listen to the combo. Anyone have any advice about the above error message?
