Of course you are right rick, I only focus on the highs because that is the unique part of the 'absolute sound' that always reveals itself to me 1st. After 2 days listening to this version of cplay all the other stuff becomes noticed by me. Its a deeper soundstage the bass is more taut, the whole spectrum has more punch. It is such a revelation that I don't understand why others don't try and report on it. It is a milestone accomplishment IMO.

BTW I still have to reboot my system every other day to get the juli drivers to work right. Also I have an old computer into which I can build cmp, I found a local store (that also helps with installation--I need this) that sells all that I need. Question to you did you take this route or did you build it from the ground up? Reason I ask is because this old computer already has xp pro on it and I just wondered if it will survive the installation of a new mobo, processor, memory.

Happy to see you are into this final cplay, it is so good its scary.
