On Biostar mobos, the PCI Latency tool can be used to adjust timers.
Not so for Gigabyte - I suspect this is a feature of Intel's chipset. However, default latency timer can be changed in BIOS:
- Enter BIOS
- From main menu, Press Ctrl+F1 to access advanced options
- Select PnP/PCI Configurations
- Change default timer setting of 32 to 128
There's a small improvement when using cMP².
