cPlay 2.0b5 GUI Does Something Peculiar When Loading CUE Sheet...

Hi cics - Let me begin with another compliment on how the updated software makes music - my DAC1 never had it so good ! Once again I was rewarded with new detail & musical enjoyment (cMP 1.2 + cPlay 2.0b5). I don't know HOW you do it, but Thank You,
Thank You, Thank You !

I noticed something peculiar with cPlay 2.0b5 - when loading up tracks list from the CUE sheet - the song list gets scrambled (...maybe it happend in beta 4 too).

Here's the CUE, showing five tracks within the source file:

...and here's what cPlay displays:

Notice there are five unique track numbers in column one, but they do not increment correctly. When it's playing, the sound is just glorious, but I couldn't help double-clicking on a blank entry - I experienced a program wait of about 75 seconds and then it played music again (I guess it had to do a lengthy RAM reload). BTW, the source file is 16/44.1, encoded in FLAC. Please PM me for a d/l link, should you want to test this with the actual files.

I don't have an exhaustive list, but it happens with more than one album... and NOT with every album ! Here is another troublemaker:

These screen captures were done without the cMP program running - just pure cPlay. It behaves the same way under cMP too. Do the "FLAGS DCP" or "Index 00" lines cause a problem ?

OK - enough mystery and evidence for now. Thanks for all the incredible work you do on this project !!

Edit UPDATE -> Additional Thoughts:
Some of the "inconsistent" track splitting I observe is expected - that's the dynamic RAM management working ! Depending on what other apps are running in the system (and therefore memory available to cPlay), the same long-ish track will be split into varying lengths. As riboge observes, the numerical track numbers (column one) should still reflect the song/track number as found in the CUE sheet, while the segments get alphabetical designations (and perhaps "b", "c", "d" etc. get column one blanked out).

ALSO: NAVIGATION using "<<" and ">>" Buttons:
This may be by design or necessity, but in the 3-part "Mindrevolutions" example, when playing segment #2, repeated clicking of the "<<" button does not return you to segment #1, but rather wraps around to the end of the song - in this case the end of segment #3. I suppose this is just a constraint of the "load next part in the background" strategy.

Thanks again...
Grant

That's not a Toy... IT'S A TOOL !!
