I like this idea. The only problem that has occurred to me is with jumping(fast) forward and back. If a track is divided into three parts and the first is started, one is be able to forward or back in the first one only. Listing all simply as one track would mislead about this. Cics will have to say whether this can be overcome. If it can, I agree with you.
