RE: Tidal

Doug - do you ever read before you type?

Peter's files were covered in a *show report*. I *reviewed* MQA wherein I used other sources. I've also written numerous articles on MQA since. As we know John Atkinson used his own recordings for *some* of his comparisons (i.e. these are *vlaid* comparisons), and other reviewers have written about MQA using *know source files* (not limited to 2L recordings, which was only the case *years ago*).

Tidal Masters offers all manner of MQA encoded music including new releases and subscribers can stream these titles at *no additional cost*. So your entire mythical MQA witch hunt may have been valid *years ago* but today it is simply silly. Why? Because anyone with a Tidal HiFi account can simply listen for themselves. You do know that even people with non-MQA DACs get up to 24/96 playback of MQA titles using Tidal, right?

I can see why you longer want to discuss this - you neglected to answer my questions where I pointed out how valid comparisons *have been done*, none of which you want to talk about.

But I get it. You need to come up with a story about MQA that explains why you haven't reviewed it yourself.

Cherio!
