I say 'value added'. Folks who add value certainly SHOULD get a pass more than

More than the folks who are totally a holes.
So I say it should be a merit system.
So folks who regularly add value would soak up demerits off the good points they have.
Folks who have nothing good to add. Well they are in the hole to start, so sending them to their room? yup.
