RE: Stereophile and MQA...

When someone has a bone to gnaw it's easy to find things that are "out of context." Stereophile covers a lot of ground in a relatively few pages and seemingly stray comments, especially about a new way to hear recorded music, are bound to happen.

If you, for example, were obsessed with MOSFETs, then every mention of MOSFETs would drive you crazy. Garvey is obsessed with MQA and convinced of a conspiracy. I've seen no evidence of a conspiracy and could not give less of a shit if someone makes a buck off MQA.

People like Garvey are part of the digital landscape, for better or worse. In his case it's mostly worse.
