Tony I knew what "MC-SACDs" was taking about and you do too.

Creating new points on the curve by upsampling does help to smooth things out as there are more samples. The ones inbetween the recorded samples were "guessed at", it is much better to have the complete real samples that were recorded on location by the master recorder.

You of all people know why native high resolution (such as 24/96) sounds so much better than 16/44.1 upsampled, for example to 24/96. The first is real resolution the second is "fake" resolution and I KNOW you know which one sounds better.
