Specs and measurement in room are very different

I've been building loudspeakers using tweeters that in lab measure flat to 50 kHz but in my room in my seating position they only measure - 3 or 6 db at 20 khz.
Theresa do not belive specs, most of them are exagerated to fool people like you. Get yourself a mic and a program that can measure frequency response in your seat and you will see that you would be lucky to get
20 kHz.
