I'll Try To Clarify

Steve,

Sometime when I post I believe my point is crystal clear when perhaps it's not.

IMHO if we took 2 interconnects made from identical wire, dielectric, jackets etc. The 1st one the builder took the time to pay attention to detail while constructing the interconnect would/should sound better than the 2nd one that was thrown together by a different builder.

Now if they didn't use the same materials, say the 1st one used silver wire the & 2nd one used copper wire, the 1st one used teflon dielectric & the 2nd one used plastic dielectric, etc

Thus IMHO we'd discover it's in that construction technique and materials they used where one discovers why they are audibly superior.

If I remember correctly Nordost at one time made the wires used in the space shuttle (I may be wrong.) I'd believe one that could construct wires to NASA's standards could probably construct wires very well indeed, perhaps better than most.

Please understand, I don't believe there's a point to win. I believe there are many paths to audio nirvana. The path I take might not be the one for you and that's ok. In the end if you're happy with what you listen to that's all that matters.

But notice how Objectivists go bonkers when opinions are stated as if they're facts? Yet they do the very same thing everyday. So until someone, somewhere PROVES wires don't audibly sound different, than anything the Objectivists say to the contrary is just their opinion as well. If it's stated as an opinion I'll have no problem with their comments, but if they're are stated as facts they should expect a rebuttal from me.
