Pat D, You can believe the reason, perhaps that I go after you, as you put it, is I can't accept that I can't win arguments with a 'weak minded' person like yourself!It's almost impossible to win an arguement with one who evades direct questions, does double talk such as I never said all wires, while meaning 99.999999999999999999999999% of all wires used, etc
But the reason "I go after you" as you profess is because you state your trash Objectivists opinions as facts. Let alone that you critic highend audio while owning upper mid-fi components at best.
But I NEVER try to win arguements because I don't believe there is a one correct way in audio for everyone. I've said that to you many times in the past. One of the BIG differences between me and you Pat is I believe there are many paths to audio nirvana. The path I take might not be the one for you and that's ok with me. In the end if you're happy with what you listen to that's all that matters. The only real problem as I see it is, 99.999999999% of the Objectivists here (like you Pat) won't allow that same measure fairness to the Subjectivists here.
Instead in their minds they're right we're wrong and they are going to be sure everyone knows it. So they berate us about our use of wacko wires, our equipment with euphonic colorations or refer to us a weak-minded individuals who are fooling ourselves. It's the Objectvists here most of the time who won't allow us to have different, but equally valid paths to audio nirvana.
That's the real truth, care to deny it?
