You're welcome + electron velocity in Cu wire

I'm really just fascinated by the use of hard science behind claims.

Here's another cool link explaining the actual electron velocity in copper wire (see link.) is a mere 0.075mm/sec. In essence, the signal is not carried by electrons down a wire but rather by the electromagnetic wave.

FWIW, I use plain ol' copper wire (14ga. Royal Cable to be exact, which can be found in the automotive section at finer Wal-Marts everywhere.).....Colin
