RE: 5 microseconds? -- Try 3 milliseconds for bass frequencies

"Few listeners over 40 years old will hear anything,
and those who do hear a 20Hz. tone
will be annpoyed by the surface noise
from the vinyl, so will prefer the CD."

Wrong. Surface noise is not 20kHz. The noise floor of vinyl is lower than that of the CD over most of the hearing range.

To even compare the CD to a real audio format is retarded. The CD has no low-level information because of its piss-poor resolution.

As said elsewhere, compare the 20-bit remastered Brubeck Time Out CD to the LP. It is a highly rated CD. I do not know what's wrong with those people because the CD sounds like shit. It's a fricken joke.

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up"
