Thank GOD that's ONLY your opinion. If you can open your mind just one little tiny pico-meter you'd learn ask a question instead of assuming like you always do.Now had you done that I could have provided greater detail on step #4. which was:
4) We'd insert the interconnect, turn on the system, play the song, and while the song played we'd sit at opposite sides of a couch. We did this to be sure we didn't see what the other wrote--not that this mattered because Rick is almost blind after a 2 foot distance. Then we'd simultaneously wrote down what we heard.
Rick and I took turns inserting the interconnects, which in step #1 were labled 1-8. So whenever Rick inserted an interconnect is was SBT to me because I wouldn't know which one of 1-8 he inserted. Likewise for Rick when I inserted an interconnect it was SBT for him because he wouldn't know which # 1-8 I inserted.
Additionally I've told you we did tests in many different homes over the following months. And before you try to use this statement against me " Now I think that to you, this will be an invalid test because we could see the cables in question." I meant that we saw the cables when we labled them 1-8, NOT during the tests!
