Actually, Going by the VMPS RM40, which is a really great planar hybrid speaker, the total package is WMMTMMW and though by no means petite, it is not a "monstrosity" My modest suggestion is for a speaker barely 12" taller than what Aceinc has already built.

No lack of royally F'ed up maggie setups and room treatments that make your heart sag. But we are here to steer each other to solutions that work.

In all these years of extolling the virtues (and limitations) of the Neo8 drivers, I kept seeking examples of something that does a step ahead in performance so I would have something to upgrade to. I am sorry to say that I have not found anything better without adding a decimal to the cost, and even then I am not sure the specific improvements were that great. .
