...as I did since, as you say, it doesn't cost anything, and it doesn't work (to my ears), then the believers say you did it wrong, your system doesn't have the resolving power to distinguish the difference, and on and on... Kind of reminds me of the believers in UFOs, Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness monster. Despite the fact that there hasn't been one credible shred of evidence that they exist, believers explain that away with questionable photographs, Roswell cover-ups, and plaster casts of footprints.
