These are very real, easily audible factors. Break in is a fact, fancy wires and good wall sockets make better music, and far as CD treatments go, I find the Audience Auric Illuminator sounds the best of all the ones I'd used. I've got an even better one for you -- the Bedini Cd Spinner. Please show me where any of this has been established as fact.
The only established fact I'm aware of is that some people subjectively perceive differences. And that I'm sorry to inform you does not in itself establish any actual audibility. No more than some people seeing an image of the Savior on a burnt tortilla shell at Pedro's Taco Hut establishes the divinity of Christ.
Another very well established fact is that it is trivially easy for people to subjectively perceive differences even when nothing at all has been changed let alone microscopically small differences.
Of course by the same token, it has not been established as fact that such things DON'T result in actual audible differences.
But what boggles my mind is how some people can make such huge, blind leaps of faith and then attempt to establish this leap of faith as unquestionable fact while wholly excluding truly established facts as any other possibility.
Why does it seem that so many people involved in this hobby are so wholly dispossessed of even rudimentary analytical thought?
