Very Sneaky there Audio Eng, you managed to recommend a DBT in a DBT free zone without really calling it a DBT.Try again. Tweaker's Asylum is not a DBT-free zone.
The reality is that cryo makes a difference and it does not take a blindfold to hear that difference and that I think is what bothers your type the most.
No, the reality is simply that some people subjectively perceive differences. That does not necessarily mean that cryo makes any difference which can in fact be heard.
You speak above about born agains trying to sneak religion into schools, but your huge leap of faith here is actually more in keeping with that analogy when you expect your subjective perceptions to be accepted unquestioningly as some universal, objective reality.
Try using your ears and brain to examine your musical experience and you might just find more enjoyment in same.
As a card-carrying subjectivist when it comes to listening to and enjoying music, I agree with this 100%.
However when one automatically assumes that their subjective perceptions are inherently an accurate reflection of objective realities, they are simply fooling themselves and have absolutely no appreciation for how trivially easy it is for one's subjective perceptions to be altered even when the objective reality has not changed at all.
So while it's all well and good to say that you subjectively perceive cryoed discs to sound better, as soon as you cross over the objective line and claim that your subjective perceptions are entirely the result of some change in the objective reality, you now have a burden of proof which cannot be satisfied with the all to common weasel phrase "listen for yourself."
