Just for reference here are the Maggies I have reasonable experience with:
Maggie 1.5qr, 1.6qr, 2.5r, 3.6r, 20.1r (this one is very good and I am not referring to it in my comments above)The problem is that many haven't heard them with SOTA amplification. Classe is NOT SOTA amplification. I have heard both Maggies and Acoustats with SOTA amplification and IMO the Acoustats or Apogees (especially the Diva) win by a landslide.
