Richard,

I see where you're coming from and you ask valid questions. Absolutely nothing wrong with that by the way.

But Atkinson explained that he's participated in over 100 tests and has been successful in identifying minute (so-called by me) changes or differences in various audio components. Let's forget wires, power cords or interconnects at least for now.

Based on the recurring theme of Audio Reviewers and experienced audio enthusiasts (I hate the term Audiophile), isn't it possible that a person can learn/train themselves to perceive actual changes in equipment? Or at least notice more of what their system is reproducing?

Don't you notice far more about the components you use now then when you first heard them? If you did, what changed?

Good question I think.

Was it the component itself, or was it you? Perhaps a combination of both is the answer. Who can say definitively? Character attacks aside, have you noticed no changes or differences in any of the electronics you're intimately experienced with?

Hell, DBT's aside, have you noticed nothing between amps, preamps and source components when sighted? If your answer is no, that's totally cool with me. I have no problem with that and would never use that info to give you a hard time.

If your answer is yes.......what have you done about it? To put it another way, did that perception change a buying decision?
