"DBT methodology can work down to the physical limits of hearing." No, I do not think this is true. Nothing you have stated provides any support for thids conclusion.

"Audiologists are able to determine whether hearing is normal or not as part of their day to day work." What does this have to do with the topic at hand?? Try to stay focussed.
"There's nothing peculiar to DBT to induce performance anxiety. If forced choice bothers you, perhaps you need training." First, whether or not it is "peculiar" is irrelevant if the problem exists. Second, you might need to look up "forced choice." There are significant implications of forced choice on test results. And no, I don't need "training," Pat. You can do better than this.
"If testing something else, perhaps, but it is precisely the ear-brain combination that is being tested. Just as the audiologists can test hearing, so can psychometricians test how sensitive hearing is." You must be joking. Your statement tosses the DBT right out the window as anything other than a momentary time-specific gimmick for testing one person's abilities at a very specific time for a very specific set of parameters. There is nothing that can be derived from the data that translates into any back-up for support of general conclusions.
