Pat, if you cannot hear the difference than you need not be bothered with investing your money.
What I take issue with is the difficulty you seem to have believing that people can hear something and decide, without DBT, if they like it or not.
It seems that I can do this, and I back my decision by spending my money. People should be able to spend THEIR money on what THEY want without having to be attacked. This is after all a hoby, and last time I looked, a hoby was for enjoyment.
