Looking for a new faceplate?

Audio by Alexander is who will put them out, that is if he wants to make any money off of his creation. I have the prototype. It probably would not fit your most prejediced needs as it is an IC based design. Basically it is an Analog devices microphone amplifier combined with a hellacious power supply that pretty much clouds the need for a battery source.

The guy with the fine rig said that the highs aren't quite what the Lamm's were (95 + % of the way there), but it beat the Lamm in every other parameter. Especially soundstaging. Mind you, the pre amp that the guy tried out was a bare bones version without dual power supplies or ladder attenuators. The answer for the high frequancy air issue? A pot with a circuit that can custom dial 2nd order harmonics to the user's needs can be provided. It was not chosen at this time. Personally, I tend to prefer the air in the original recording, not add it later. I don't know if my mini Pass is adding some, but it works more than fine in it's intended application.
