less audiophiles, musicans, singers etc. If more audiophiles would reach out to the younger folks, donate extra gear, time .I have reached out and find music interest is still with us and I have helped expand the hobbie. In the US folks dont think music matters too a well rounded education and they are so wrong.I do feel if more people knew we existed and how quality music reproduction can enrich ones life maybe more would join up. Maybe as a group the A-5 could address this core issue.Another is recording quality, get some recording engineers involved, those guys need to get rid of the hot mix and wall of sound. How can we enjoy quality music reproduction when modern recordings are so poor? If it all sounds bad why invest in a quality system.Might have something to do with why more average folks dont get into this hobbie and feel MP3 is all they need for if they listen to mostly modern recordings they might be right.
