Looks like you have plenty of experience to give an adequate judgement call on it's performance to other recievers.

I dislike recievers due to their signature of not getting out of the way of the musice,but adding so much coloration that it becomes un-natural to tolerate.

Have you tried the Berhinger Processor combo? I wnat to know more about that and the mods. Am very undecided as to weather to use it as a dedicated HT setup and have a different system to use for reference or t use it for 2ch. Biamping my speakers. Will wait to decide.Seeing I have a big Vinyl collection I might opt for using both going into 2 system setups.

Anyways glad there are others with experience that have had good experience with the unit.
