You are also right on the money Vinylrube. What people don't understand about digital is the fact it only works one way. It can't work half the time or almost it has to be right from beginning to end. Analog can work even when your only getting half the signal. Take for example cable tv..analog can be fuzzy as hell but you still can watch tv.Try the same thing with digital tv...it will chip and clip.. you will never see a solid picture. Same thing with a cable modem big difference with dial up. When it's setup correctly it works like a champ.Put a 90 degree crinkle in the cable feeding it and see how long it stays up. Dial up you can have moisture in your phone lines and run it off 40 year old wiring..it works but it is slow as hell!
