Thanks for listening to my suggestion. I'm not just some guy on the bar stool next to you spitting out my half-baked opinions. This is stuff that I've learned the hard way. But some people are too lazy to try.
TVs and audio don't go well together. Our D-1xe DVD player did a fantastic job, but even then you had to be careful with other video sources. The basic problem is that a TV puts all kinds of garbage into your audio system, and the ONLY way to stop it is to unplug it completely.
Same goes for Wi-Fi. If you search the forums, you'll see a lot of people that tell me I'm stupid, but you'll also see a few people that actually bother to unplug their Wi-Fi router, and by gum, their stereo *does* sound better.
I'm glad you're enjoying your system again. If you really want to have some fun, borrow an L-5xe AC power filter from your dealer. You'll still have to use a switched power strip on your TV, but I think you'll find it interesting nonetheless.
