Do some reading - there are some detractors, but I found they made a (positive) difference. I think you need 6 for both integrated and cd. If I read the Cable Companies return policy, it seems these are returnable if not satisfied - read site yourself or call to confirm (I would not want to provide any misinformation).
I've owned both pieces for 2-3 years and still enjoy them. I'm still twaeking away when I get the time, and am still getting more from each component.
