I would say try to make a good pr. of stands for them if they still have the original stands. Try to weight the bases down with a concrete block, that might help your bass issue and if it does and you don't want to spend any more money while your deciding than wrap the blocks in some kind of fabric or velvet so your not looking at bricks.
