RE: Aluminum enclosures are stupid.

Hi,

The "bass is better" is about as blanket of a statement as John Marks saying aluminum is always bad, particularly where there is "less bass but better definition."

Some people might find less bass to be worse bass. It's only recently that I've found the Magico bass "level" to be acceptable. For many years, I found them quite bass light, to the point that even big speakers sounded thin.

But the real issue is the sweeping generalizations. "Better" is pretty subjective when there are flaws.
