Offset the signal by up to several percent of the input magnitude in a manner nonharmonically related to a nonsinusoidal or particularly non repetitive input waveform (eg: music), in the case of some types of ceramic capacitor.

This is particularly pernicious when used as a coupling cap, since the spectrum of this distortion is transposed to higher frequencies where the ear is usually more sensitive, most notably affecting both the attack and decay to ambient characterics of more dynamic musical transients. Presumably, you don't need a clinic on deciphering what those might be.

Ask yourself: would a high DA capacitor generally be more suitable for coupling high quality analog than when used for a s/h function for instrumentation purposes or digital audio? If so, why?
