That last part, the part about suspicious test subjects who make screwball demands because they're paranoid of ABX boxes, is quite important.The ABX box isn't the best thing in the world, but it's far, far from the worst.
More of the problem with at least some of the tests is acclimatization, familiarity, training, etc, all of which are hard to come by in subjects, and which have to be developed with each subject individually.
