We obviously view whats happening here from completely different perspectives. When I said As you're now talking more rationally instead of insulting me for liking SETs, you claimed you've done no such thing. But I disagree. When someone tells me (like you did) to "Please take this self-pitying crap someplace else." when I talk about SETs. I ses that as being insulted for liking SETS.If that's how you see it then I would say you seem to be a bit paranoid.
It had absolutely nothing to do with your liking SETs. I could care less that you or anyone else likes them. I have a certain fondness for them myself. And I have NEVER taken ANYONE to task for their choices or preferences. Whenever someone is happy with their choices, then I'm happy for them even if their choices wouldn't necessarily be mine.
No, that comment had to do with your invariably posting here becasue you've felt insulted by what some "naysayer" or "objectivist" has said to you on some other forum. You've been doing this ever since your very first post in this forum back in May, which had to do with some not believing that cables make an audible difference.
Now it's because some have said because you like SETs, you like listening to "highly distorted or heavily colored sound."
You're also 100% mistaken in your response to my statement: The reason I care is because I love SET's and would like to remove the mis-information about them from those who don't know.Ok. Why? To what end exactly?
Your error was when you claimed: So then you're trying to save people from themselves? Isn't that what "yaysayers" accuse "naysayers" of trying to do? No Steve you are wrong! I am NOT trying to save people from themselves. IMHO people that attempt to to save people from themselves try to convert others to their way of thinking. I'm NOT attempting to win converts! Instead I'm attempting remove misconceptions about SETs.Hate to say it, but so far you haven't shown that there are misconceptions in the first place.
