Whats Not New To You May Be New To Someone Else

Garth,

You seem to believe that because the article revealed nothing new to you it was useless. However from what many of the opponents of SETs post here it appears they believe that listening through an SET means one is automatically hearing a highly distorted and colored replication of music. The article I refered to explained why that not necessarily so. So that's what to discuss!

Ther are other people besides you here Garth. If you'll read their posts you'll see they equate SET with being equal to high distortion and high coloration. With today's better SETs that not necessarily true. So that's also what I wanted to discuss with those people.

Finally if it's true that you bought your first SE amp in 1991 and have owned no less than a dozen different ones since then. And you honestly believe in that time nothing has changed, at least from what you've read or heard, you need to read and hear more. The KR Audio Kronzilla's aren't highly colored or high distortion SET amps at all. Fact is they can compete with many a solid state amp in these areas, so THATS the point of my post! I know my Mastersound doesn't sound highly colored or high distortioned either, but alas I can find no specs to verify that belief.
