We are not talking about proving they work; we are saying that in our experience they work well enough to cause us to buy them. There are too many alternative hypotheses for anyone to ever "prove" to others that they work or that X is a better speaker, etc.I for one am not worried about "never nothing thanks to a true experiment that something works. I have never seen that done anywhere in audio and fully expect I never will.
I would note that I fully expect given your biases that even were you to hear the IC, the placebo effect would keep you from hear any difference. How would you prove to me that you indeed hear no difference? And why would you care to prove this to me?
